Qrops....challenges created by an uncertain World

When:  Jul 18, 2018 from 10:00 to 11:00 (ET)

The International and Cross-Border Planning Knowledge Circle will be hosting Geoff Hartnell in the next Knowledge Circle call which will be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at 10 am ET.

Geoff began his career in 1982 with Imperial Life of Canada as a Life Underwriter. Within three years he was invited to join the Management team building his own Sales Team, and by 1989 the Team was ranked in the Top 3 out of 50 within the Company and Geoff was recruited to become Managing Director of an Independent Financial Advisory Company in North London.

Within two years Geoff and his business partner had set up their own Advisory practice and purchased their first office building. The Business had two main areas of focus: the development of an expanding Employee Benefit Consultancy and the ability to attract an unlimited supply of new clients by creating Joint ventures with Chartered Accountancy practices. Today the Vintage Group is made up of five separate businesses.

  • The largest is Vintage Wealth Management an IFA practice with over 20 advisers and some 55 support staff supporting a network of over 40 Accountancy practices.
  • Vintage Corporate employs 24 specialist Staff who manage Employee Benefits for over 1000 Companies ranging from small professional practices all the way through to multi National Corporations.
  • Vintage Asset Management is a boutique Asset Management Company based in Central London which manages bespoke Investment Portfolios for Vintage Wealth Management’s top 300 clients on a Discretionary basis.
  • Vintage Health is a whole of market Private Medical Insurance Specialist which runs schemes for nearly 500 Companies.
  • Vintage Trustees operates as an Independent Trust Company for those that require Corporate Trust Services.

The Brexit referendum created caused great uncertainty amongst Vintage’s International clientele, creating an unprecedented demand for impartial advice.

On today’s call  Geoff will explore the challenges and opportunities faced by UK regulated pension transfer specialists operating within the International arena......”QROPS...challenges created by an uncertain World”.
