When:  Jun 16, 2020 from 14:00 to 15:00 (ET)
The June 2020 Tax & Estate Planning Knowledge Circle will be held on Thursday, June 16th at 2 pm ET.

Guest speakers Fontaine McDaniel Lee and Peter Kote will be presenting, "Compare/Contrast: Corporate Trustee vs. Individual Professional Trustee."

We will discuss who can be your client’s trustee (bank trust department, your client’s brother, their CPA?), and help you guide your client to make good trustee choices.

Fontaine McDaniel Lee, MBA, from Cumberland Trust (Nashville) give us the Corporate Trustee perspective.  Cumberland has offices in 10 cities around the United States and Fontaine works in the Atlanta office.

Peter C. Kote, JD, from Professional Fiduciary Services (Orange County, California) is an individual professional trustee licensed by the State of California.

Besides comparing and contrasting types of trustees, Fontaine and Peter will discuss why the financial planner should help guide your client’s trustee choice, what a trustee does operationally, and the legal duties a trustee must adhere to (manage risk, monitor delegates, etc.)
