The 5 Essentials Skills of an Exceptional Advisor

Guest speaker, Lisa Kirchenbauer with Omega Wealth Management, LLC will be presenting, "The 5 Essential Skills of an Exceptional Advisor."

Most planners and advisors seek to have deeper relationships, build greater trust and have more effective relationships with their clients.  As compensation comes under pressure and the public expects more of their advisor, technical knowledge is not enough anymore.  Being an exceptional communicator and relationship builder has become even more important. “The 5 Essential Skills™”  presentation and training program came out of years of observation, experience and mentoring and training with other planners.  The 60 minute presentation seeks to overview why these skills are critical in today’s client relationships, while also providing some understanding and exposure as to how to implement these skills in everyday client interactions.  The presentation is engaging, interactive and thought-provoking.

Lisa Kirchenbauer, is President of Omega Wealth Management, in Arlington, Virginia.  She has been in the financial services industry since 1985 and is a CFP, Registered Life Planner and Certified Financial Transitionist.  Lisa completed her life planning training in 2004 and has been implementing financial life planning since 2005 in her practice with a retainer and assets under management business model.  She has served a trainer and mentor for the Kinder Institute of Life Planning and has published several articles in the Journal for Financial Planning, as well as being quoted in numerous industry and consumer publications.  Lisa was named “Financial Planner of the Year” in 2014 in her local Financial Planning Association chapter, and a top financial advisor in the Washington, DC area since 2014.  In 2017, she authored the “The 5 Essential Skills of an Exceptional Advisor”, currently available on Amazon.com.  Over the last 4 years, Lisa has spoken to planners in India, the Netherlands, and Australia to share her passion for improving relationship & communication skills.  Lisa has been part of the Strategic Coach entrepreneurial  coaching program since 2006 and her business implements the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) and Engagement Multiplier assessment tool.  She is also a Certified Kolbe Consultant.  Lisa lives in Arlington, Virginia with her husband and twin teenage sons.  In her off-time, she plays classical percussion in the Arlington Concert Band, directed by her husband.
