The Latinos & Latinas in the Boardroom Knowledge Circle call will outline how serving on a community board or corporate board benefits your career and gives you opportunities to apply your talents to organizations you serve. We will be discussing qualifications and experience for serving on boards. We will address how board service fits with your professional networking, career trajectory and how to get started.
Gloria Zamora, president and CEO, founded the company, Success Innovators, Inc., in 2006 on the premise that “You the Leader Make the Difference.” Zamora has assisted leaders and Boards of Directors in many industries, private and public corporations, including the Fortune 500, technology, manufacturing, education, health care, non-profits and professional services.
Zamora has led human resources for Fortune 100 companies and a privately held firms, including BNSF Railway, Coors Brewing Company, and Whirlpool Corporation. She specializes in senior management alignment, executive coaching and retreats, and organizational change to create high-performance cultures. She chairs the board of the Denver School of Science and Technology Public Schools (DSST) and serves on the Board of the Women’s Leadership Foundation
M. L. Hanson's diverse career has included banking, finance and nonprofit management. She founded a consulting practice that advised management and leadership of both commercial and charitable organizations prior to starting an entrepreneurial enterprise. Ms. Hanson's community leadership includes board of directors’ positions with national and community organizations.
