When:  Aug 17, 2022 from 14:00 to 15:00 (ET)
The August FPA DEI Learning Series call will be held on Wednesday, August 17th at 2 pm ET.

Guest speaker Travis Walker with Allianz Life will be presenting, "A Portfolio Isn't the Only Thing Advisors Should Be Looking to Diversify."

Retirement is a reality for all of us. How some clients view it and what their concerns are, may differ slightly. With the Retirement Risk Readiness Study, Allianz explores the diverse BIPOC community’s approach to life after work.

For their Retirement Risk Readiness Study, Allianz surveyed a nationally representative sample of U.S. individuals over the age of 25 with household incomes over $50,000 (singles) and over $75,000 (married or partnered) OR those with investable assets over $150,000, comprised of almost equal amounts of men and women over three different demographics of the BIPOC community, with the goal of understanding their concerns and approaches to retirement and seeking financial advice from a professional.

With more than 15 years at Allianz Life, Travis Walker has broad experience in how the financial services industry can address the needs of diverse groups.

Experience: 15 years with Allianz Life in a range of roles – from suitability, operations, and internal sales to managing external partnerships. Chair of B.E.L.O.N.G., an employee resource group for Black and African American people at Allianz Life.
