Join Elizabeth Jetton for this important and interactive conversation about the CFP Board’s new 7-step process. Looking through the lens of the practice of financial planning as a helping profession, Elizabeth will discuss the new definitions and draw important comparisons with the concepts that exist in the 6-step helping profession process model. Participants will have the opportunity to discover new ways to apply these processes to their practice with the goal of elevating and improving the critical work they do with clients.
- Examine and evaluate the differences, positive and negative, between the 6 and the 7-step planning process.
- Examine and compare the 6-step helping profession process with the CFPB’s 7-step financial planning process.
- Apply the concepts of the helping profession to your delivery of financial planning.
