A Conversation With Former FPA President Frank Paré

When:  Feb 4, 2021 from 14:00 to 15:00 (ET)
Please join us on February 4th at 2 pm EST as we kick off Black History Month with our first African American Knowledge Circle call of the year.  On the call, we’ll be joined by Frank Paré and hear about his journey through the financial services industry to becoming the first black president of the Financial Planning Association in 2018.  We’ll also discuss the current state of the industry and hear his thoughts on how advisors of color should consider navigating the current landscape.

Frank Paré started his career in financial services over 30 years ago.

He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER(TM) professional with the CFP Board of Standards. Frank has a degree in International Relations and an M.B.A. in management.

Frank is also a past president and chair of the Financial Planning Association, a national association with over 22,000 financial planners in the U.S. and abroad. He has been quoted extensively in various national magazines and newspapers.

Frank has received several awards and accolades for his work and is credited with starting the first nationally-recognized day of pro-bono financial planning (“Financial Planning Days”) held in cities across the country during October.

Please note, this Knowledge Circle will run a little different.  The registration link will take you to our new Learning Management System at fpalearning.onefpa.org.  You will register here and on the day of the webinar you access the call by going to this website and going to your dashboard.
