Guest speaker Ryan H. Law, CFP® AFC® will  be presenting, "Seek First to Undertand."

Active listening, or seeking first to understand, is a critical skill for all financial professionals to develop. Active listening will help you engage, empathize with, and truly connect with your clients. In this interactive webinar Ryan, will discuss the importance of seeking first to understand your clients and will share practical tips for putting the principles into practice. Topics include self-awareness, empathy, validation, avoiding autobiographical responses, 7 keys to active listening, examples of good questions, and learning styles.

Ryan is a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) and an Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC®).  He teaches at Utah Valley University in the Personal Financial Planning program. He is also the Director of the Money Management Resource Center.
