I would like to just thank all of our members for what I thought was an outstanding day!
Intangibly, I felt a lot of energy, spirit and cooperation. The weather was beautiful and the facility was great. To talk with partners and friends in the hallway with the big windows allowing the sun to beam in, just helped keep everyone in a great mood.
Thank you to the BOD for allowing the moment of silence to open things up. It is so important to build our community in FPA MA, and it is in times like these that we need to avail ourselves of that opportunity to remember that we are all here to help each other become better people. It is not all about the money, but as our Financial Planner of the year award winner likes to say, it’s about connecting it with people’s lives.
The speaker lineup was incredible and well placed. Stephanie opening and Mark closing was genius…and how can you not love Susan Flanagan.
I was so proud of our organization the day before as well at our BOD meeting. We had three national BOD members attend and I can’t believe that they were anything less than impressed. I have to believe that national FPA President Mike Branham left thinking…WOW!!!!
I think lunch and the awards presentations went off tremendously, and I think, or at least hope, that it is the start of a new feeling of community and history as to what FPA MA is, was and will continue to grow to be. Our history is extremely important as that kind of legacy can feed and nurture our membership base forever…it is extremely powerful and important that we remember where we came from and always remember those who helped get us where we are today.
Thank you all again so much…it was a great and special day for our organization!
