Blockchain & Cryptocurrency - Part 1

The Investment Planning Knowledge Circle welcomes Bobby Henebry from HBCC, LLC  to the June 26th call, starting at 3:00PM ET.

Bobby Henebry, CFA, is Founder and CEO of Henebry Blockchain & Cryptocurrency Consulting, LLC (HBCC). He is an early adopter of mining cryptocurrencies and established an Ethereum mining operation in 2016.  He consults with power companies and startups interested in learning about the space. In addition, he works with startups (mainly in applications of blockchain) to help them think about strategy, craft their message, and connect with potential investors.

Previously, Mr. Henebry was a partner at SeaBridge Investment Advisors, a money manager advising high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and foundations. In his eleven years with the firm, he analyzed stocks for inclusion in global portfolios, advised clients on allocations, and monitored private equity and hedge fund positions for family office clients. He helped raise over $200M in assets for the firm.

Before joining SeaBridge Investment Advisors, Mr. Henebry was employed at Georgia Tech’s Office of Technology Licensing, where he performed prior art searches on emerging technologies, which were then considered for patenting and eventually licensing agreements for use by a range of companies, including some technology startups. In addition, he was on a team of entrepreneurs that won the 2006 Georgia Tech Business Plan Competition, and he subsequently placed third in the nation at Rice University’s annual elevator pitch competition. He was also a member of Georgia Tech’s Venture Capital Investment Competition team while in business school.

In his free time, Bobby enjoys writing, recording, and performing music. He is the founder of Chord Savvy, a music education platform. He has also traveled extensively within the United States (44 states) and abroad (40+ countries).

On the first call with Bobby he will be discussing What is Bitcoin and how does Blockchain work?

The second half of the call will take place on Tuesday, August 28th at 3 pm ET.  Bobby will be discussing a framework to think about investing in Cryptocurrencies and Blockchain.
