Jody Jacobson, PhD, Founder, Human Skills Institute™ Coach & Consultant to Leaders in Transition
Executive coach, organizational consultant, author, and podcast host.
Jody founded the Human Skills Institute™ to help financial advisors and firm owners navigate the critical transitions that define long-term success; from building and leading a growing firm, to succession planning, to the deeper question of who you’re becoming as a leader and what comes next.
She works with founders, senior leaders, and accomplished professionals at moments when what got them here is no longer enough to get them where they’re going. Her work helps clients see their situation clearly, understand themselves and their organizational dynamics more fully, and move forward with confidence in ways that weren’t available before. Clients consistently describe the work as transformational.
Jody holds a PhD in Organizational Studies from Tilburg University (The Netherlands), with a focus on Social Construction, and an MSBA in Organizational Theory from Bucknell University. She is a certified Master Practitioner of Appreciative Inquiry (NTL/Case Western Reserve University) and brings over two decades of organizational practice to her work with the financial planning community. She is the author of Organizational ADD: Refocusing Your Business for Growth.
